How do I make an appointment and what should I do to prepare for
it?
 Simply call our office to make an appointment with Dr. Jeffers. If
possible, do not bathe your pet for one week prior to the examination
so that he can see the coat at its worst. Also, do not feed your pet
for twelve hours before the appointment. You may give water as usual.
Unless otherwise instructed, continue to give any medication that
has been prescribed by your veterinarian.
Before your first appointment, it is necessary to fill out a Patient
Information Form. One is available through the Quick Forms (PDF)
section listed at the right of this page. It is recommended that you
download the form, fill it out at home and then bring it with you to
the appointment.
A Veterinary Referral Form should be completed by your
veterinarian. Please have it filled out and returned to our office by
mail or FAX before the appointment. If your veterinarian does not have
a referral form, one is available through the Quick Forms (PDF)
section listed at the right of this page. |

Appointments are available with Dr. Jeffers Mondays,
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The initial office
visit is $115. Testing and medication are additional. The
first appointment usually lasts between 30 and 45 minutes. During this visit, Dr. Jeffers will review your pet’s
history and perform a complete examination. At the end of
the examination he will explain your pet’s problem, any
necessary diagnostic test(s) and the recommended
treatment. All financial aspects will be discussed prior
to initiating tests or treatment.
Every attempt will be made to have all medical procedures performed on the same
day as the appointment.
Personal checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover
are accepted for your convenience.

If traveling South on 270; take Exit 8 - Shady Grove Road. Turn left
onto Shady Grove Road east. At the third traffic light, (not including the light at the ramp) turn
left onto Gaither Road. The clinic is located in Shady Grove Center on
the immediate right side of Gaither Road. Turn into the second
entrance on the right side by the marquis. The clinic is 50 yards
straight ahead. Reserved parking is available adjacent to the clinic.
North on 270:
If traveling North on 270; take Exit 8 - Shady Grove Road. Bear left
on exit ramp (don't take Redland Road turn) and turn right onto Shady Grove Road
east. At the second traffic light, turn left onto Gaither Road. The
clinic is located in Shady Grove Center on the immediate right side of
Gaither Road. Turn into the second entrance on the right side by the
marquis. The clinic is 50 yards straight ahead. Reserved parking is
