 Dr. James Jeffers is a 1986 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania
School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed a one year internship in
small animal medicine and surgery and a two year dermatology residency
at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he
remained a member of the Dermatology Department until July, 1993.
Dr. Jeffers is a board certified Diplomate of the American College of
Veterinary Dermatology. He has authored and reviewed numerous
articles for veterinary journals and regularly speaks at veterinary
meetings across the United States and Canada on dermatology topics.

The Animal Allergy & Dermatology Clinic was established by Dr.
Jeffers in 1992. The clinic is a referral-only practice
for the exclusive treatment of skin diseases in cats and dogs.
Four full-time receptionists and technicians assist Dr.
Jeffers in the operation of the Dermatology Clinic. The
clinic is located in Gaithersburg, MD a northwest suburb
of Washington, DC. It is conveniently located 0.2 miles
between two major roadways, Routes 270 and 355, on Shady Grove
Road.
The office is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and
appointments are available with Dr. Jeffers Mondays, Tuesdays,
Wednesdays and Fridays.
Every attempt will be made to have all medical procedures
performed on the same day as the appointment. |

If traveling South on 270; take Exit 8 - Shady Grove Road. Turn left
onto Shady Grove Road east. At the third traffic light, (not including the light at the ramp) turn

the immediate right side of Gaither Road. Turn into the second
entrance on the right side by the marquis. The clinic is 50 yards
straight ahead. Reserved parking is available adjacent to the clinic.
North on 270:
If traveling North on 270; take Exit 8 - Shady Grove Road. Bear left
on exit ramp (don't take Redland Road turn) and turn right onto Shady Grove Road
east. At the second traffic light, turn left onto Gaither Road. The
clinic is located in Shady Grove Center on the immediate right side of
Gaither Road. Turn into the second entrance on the right side by the
marquis. The clinic is 50 yards straight ahead. Reserved parking is
